About Us

VERSI was created in 2010 by Dale Rorabaugh, Founder of Cool Invent, LLC. After many prototypes, the final design of the VERSI iPad Stand is as it is presented today. Dale wanted to bring to market a better, more elegant iPad Stand that was versatile, ergonomic, revolutionary, stable and iconic.  Thus, VERSI was born.

Dale has a strong history of bringing innovative instrumentation to market and subsequently a liquidity event. Dr. Rorabaugh received his Doctor of Optometry from UC Berkley and Physics Degree from the University of Virginia and developed a very successful practice. In 1982 he founded Dicon, a medical device company, and being and inventor and industrial designer, he created complicated devices yet made them easy to operate. With over 20 years of designing and building products, he has 22 years in the eye care segment, seven publications, nine major patents and design awards for his products.

The VERSI iPad Stand is handcrafted, manufactured and assembled in California by Cool Invent, LLC.
